Kiran Kumar is a renowned flutist in Indian film music industry, for the past 15 years. He has been a most sought after and one of the leading musicians in Chennai music circles. He is associated with the great music icons like S.A. Rajkumar, Hamasalekha, Vidyasagar, Madhavapeddi Suresh, Vasurao, Koti, Bharadwaj, Manisharma, Jayachandran, Sharath, AR. Rehman, Harris Jayaraj, D. Imman, Vijay Antony, GV. Prakash, Devishri Prasad, Thaman, Joshua Sridhar, Stephen Devassy, Deena, Anoop Rubens, Sam CS, Arol Karoli, Leon James, Govind Vasanth, Sean Roldan, Madly Blues, Harikrishna, Arjun Janya, Sridhar Etc. for thousands of super hit songs in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and many other regional languages in India.

He is also associated with many gospel music Directors like JK. Christopher, Jonah Samuel, Ashirwad Luke, Navin Madiri, Linus Madiri, Guntur Raja in Telugu, Solomon Augustine, Stephen Sandra, Vincent, Prakash Williams, John Peters, Martin, Giftson Durai and many others in Tamil. He has also performed hundreds of live shows with great legendary singers like Shri SPB, Shri TM Soundarajan, Shri G. Anand, Shri P. Ramakrishna, Smt P. Susheela, Smt S. Janaki, LR. Kiran Kumar was a self-taught folk musician from rural South India. He has an intuit command and knowledge in dealing with Indian Bansuri, Boehm Flute (key Flute), Recorder, Irish Whistles (Penny Whistle) Pan-flute, Chines Dizi, Bawu, Hulusi, Didgeridoo and Armenian Duduk. At a very early age in his childhood, he started producing sounds by making holes for plastic pipes and for small bamboo sticks. Then he gradually improvised the technique of flute making and owned commendable grip on making professional flutes using fine quality bamboos. Through “Elite Flutes” Kiran Kumar wanted to share the unassailable experience to the other flutists with his master crafted Indian bamboo flute “Bansuri”.
